Württembergische Versicherung AG is one of the most long-established insurers in Germany. It was founded in 1828 as the "Württembergische Privat-Feuer-Versicherungs-Gesellschaft", making it the oldest private property insurance company in Southern Germany. Today, the company offers customised property and casualty insurance products. The wide range of products and its efficient general agencies make Württembergische Versicherung one of the largest German property and casualty insurers.

Württembergische Lebensversicherung AG was founded in 1833 as the "Allgemeine Rentenanstalt zu Stuttgart" and was the first company in Germany to offer pension schemes. It has been operating under its current name and under the Württembergische brand since 1991. In 1999, Württembergische Krankenversicherung AG in Stuttgart commenced business operations and completed the insurance range of the W&W Group in the Insurance division. Adam Riese GmbH
Adam Riese is the digital insurance brand of the W&W Group. The company was founded in October 2017 in Stuttgart as a response to changing customer behaviour and the possibilities of digitalisation.
Simple products of high quality, consistently priced according to demand and risk, are aimed at customers who compare prices and products via brokers or even online. What began with private liability insurance as the first product will be consistently supplemented by successive product launches. For example, legal expenses insurance, household contents insurance and commercial liability insurance are now also available.
